I am an LPCC, having earned my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University. I have been practicing psychotherapy in Boulder, CO for nearly two years. I work with a variety of clientele, though my focus is on couples, adults and teens.

I have experience - as a client and student - in traditional Western psychotherapy as well as in psychotherapy that is grounded in Buddhism. I combine these approaches in my work. My particular view is that people are fundamentally healthy as opposed to fundamentally problematic. Survival strategies were born out of wisdom in childhood to protect the self. Now, they have an unfortunate tendency to cause unnecessary suffering. They are no longer in line with reality. To the extent that they get in your way, they have become neuroses. This is where I - and you - intervene.

My commitment is to offer you unwavering support, reframe and clarity as you venture down your own, entirely unique path. I have unconditional confidence that you are capable and worthy of the life you truly want to lead.

In the below presentation I speak to the feminine energy of connection and the masculine energy of separateness. I propose that ownership of both is vital to living a healthy life.
